LMMS Newsletter 6-3-26
From the Principal's Desk
LMMS Families, Students, and Staff,
We are quickly winding up what has been a tremendous year. This time of year is filled with the excitement of the anticipation of our students’ next chapter and the celebration of their accomplishments. It is also a bittersweet time as we also prepare to say goodbye to our 8th graders and their families.
The end of the year has been filled with special events. Our Blue and Gold Day was a great day filled with activities planned and delivered by the staff.
A spring Pep Rally was included in this as we celebrated our spring sports - Track, Boys Baseball and Girls Softball teams. Listed below are pictures of our Coaches’ Award winners! These were students selected for their positive attitude, hard work and team spirit.
The day also included outdoor sports activities and indoor teambuilding events.
The students and staff had a great day playing together. It’s a great way to end the year.
Included in this newsletter you will find reminders for end of the year trips that are coming up.
Our 8th Grade Promotion ceremony will be on Monday, June 15th at 9 am. A common question that we are getting is if there is a limit to the number of guests who can attend. There is not a limit;however, younger siblings are not excused from school to attend this event.
I can’t thank our staff enough for their efforts to plan and participate in our end of year milestone events and trips. This is a busy time of year and these efforts are appreciated!
Looking forward to seeing many of you at our end of year celebrations,
Ms. Dilks
