Make School Attendance A Priority For Your Student

School attendance is the #1 indicator for student academic success! Please make sure that you are modeling the importance of prompt, timely, daily attendance for your student! Here are a few facts that highlight the importance of student attendance!

  • Bridger students with average daily attendance below 90% are performing an average of 0.6 GPA equivalent below their peers. This is based on a 4.0 scale!
  • Students under 90% attendance are on pace to miss over 17 school days this school year! That is almost 1 month of school!
  • Students with an average attendance below 90% will have missed over 1.5 years of school prior to graduation.
Your student's attendance can be found on your student's 3rd Quarter Progress Report. Student attendance is also available through parent access in Power School.

Has your student lost his/her agenda? If so, a replacement can be purchased for $5.00 in Bridger's Main Office.

Ipod Day To Be Held On March 27th

Wednesday, March 27th will serve as our next iPod day of the school year. During iPod days, students may pay $3 to listen to music (on their own personal device with headphones) during teacher-designated times throughout the day.

Students are not to use their device for any other purpose than listening to music. Devices will be confiscated and returned to students at the conclusion of the day if a student is not complying with this request.

Needed Supply Notes

Throughout the course of the year, a student's supplies may need to be replenished. To support this communication, students are being provided a green slip of paper with the attached image. The note will list any supply a student may need to support his/her preparedness for class. These will be placed in a student's Take Home Folder within his/her binder.

Not Receiving Emails from Bridger or the Independence School District?

We want to ensure our parents and community are connected with information from Bridger Middle School and the Independence School District. Are you receiving emails? If not, there could be a few reasons why. Reasons include:

  • Our email system will only email the address of the first contact of your student. Please ensure that you are checking the email address of your student's first contact for important emails.
  • If you "Unsubscribe" from emails from the building or the district, this will prevent you from receiving all emails sent by the building or the ISD.
  • Have you checked your spam filter? Since emails are sent through a grouplist, some email filters will block these emails and they may be sent directly to your "Junk" folder.

If you are not receiving emails please contact the school office. We will be able to assist in manually adding you back to our email system. This process will allow you to receive future email communications!

Get Your Bridger Spirit Wear!

We have spirit wear available for students! Each t-shirt is super soft, already printed, and is available for purchase. T-shirts are $15 each and can be purchased through the main office. Cash only purchases please. Pick one up before they are gone! Images included below!
