PBL Weekly Blast

week of June 9 - 12
Class of 2025
Our stole ceremony was an unforgettable emotionally charged celebration filled with joy, pride, and reflection. Each of your teachers shared heartfelt memories, painting vivid portraits of your growth, your perseverance, and your unique contributions to our community. You were seen, honored, and celebrated—both as individuals and as a powerful collective.
Your tribute to your advisor, Bailey Field, was a beautiful testament to the relationships you’ve built and the impact you've made. The love and gratitude in the room were undeniable.
The Class of 2025 will not be forgotten. You have left a legacy that will inspire future PBL students.
We are so proud of you. Congratulations, graduates!
In the Classroom
Uncovering the Numbers - an Econ and Stats interdisciplinary Project
12th grade students spent the last 8 weeks working in groups to research a topic of interest that answers the essential question of the project: How can I, as a statistician and economist, uncover and analyze the factual data of current federal government actions to inform others about the economic effects and motivate my peers to take action?
Then, students researched, wrote, recorded, and edited a podcast series that informs, persuades, entertains, and/or motivates a chosen audience about the selected topic.
Original artwork, show notes, timestamps, and data are all posted on Inkwire along with the recordings of all episodes.

6/5 - Community Meeting Recap – PBL Advisory Olympics!
Last week’s community meeting was a blast, pun intended, as advisories faced off in the PBL Advisory Olympics. Each group brought their A-game, working together through a variety of fun and competitive challenges—from heated debates (Is cereal a soup?) and PBL trivia to high-energy capture the flag and relay races.
It all came down to a tight race between our juniors and seniors, but in the end, the seniors clinched the final Advisory Trophy of the year!
A huge shoutout to all advisories for showing teamwork, and spirit! 🏆
