As we bring this school year to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our entire school community. While this year presented its share of challenges, it also revealed the strength, faith, and perseverance of our staff, students, and families. Thanks to your dedication, we've not only met those challenges but also grown from them. As we wrap up another fantastic month, we’re thrilled to shine a light on two outstanding members of our school community who go above and beyond every day.

First, a huge congratulations to Mrs. Joelle Cordiello, our Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Cordiello brings math to life in her classroom with creativity, clarity, and care. Her dedication to student success, along with her warm and approachable teaching style, creates an environment where all students feel empowered to excel. She truly makes a difference and inspires us all!

We’re also proud to recognize Suraya Khan as our Student of the Month! Suraya is a shining example of leadership, perseverance, and academic excellence. Her positive attitude, respectful nature, and commitment to doing her best in everything she takes on make her a role model for her peers.

Construction for our brand-new school is officially in full swing! Every day brings new progress, and we can’t wait to welcome our students, families, and staff into a modern, innovative learning environment. On Friday night, students gathered to celebrate Prom 2025 under the festive theme of Carnivale. It was an evening full of joy, color, and lasting memories. A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, and students who made the night truly extraordinary.

Our students are getting their hands dirty as they are planting and observing how plants grow and change! Each student will care for their plant while making regular notes about its development. Later on, these plants will be part of a fun experiment to explore how photosynthesis works. A great way for students to see science come to life—literally!

Final exams will be held on May 20, 21, and 22. Students that have a grade of 90 or above in their course will be exempt from taking the finals.

On May 7th and 8th, all students (except seniors) will take their final NWEA Progress Monitoring Test of the year. This important assessment measures student growth and helps us celebrate the academic progress made throughout the school year. We encourage all students to do their best and finish strong!
