The Cambrian Education Foundation recognized students who were top readers in the annual districtwide Read-a-thon. The fundraiser supports social-emotional learning, mental health, and wellness resources across the school district. Through their enthusiasm for reading, these students not only strengthened their literacy skills, but also demonstrated dedication, curiosity and a love of learning that reflects the very best of our district.

Congratulations to all of our Read-a-thon participants—we are proud of you!

Chief Business Officer, Linh Nguyen presented the results of the Cambrian School District Developer Fee Justification Study 2026.

The Cambrian School District collects developer fees on any new and additional construction of residential and commercial buildings within the district boundaries.

Every two years, the State Allocation Board adjusts the amount of developer fees that school districts may levy. On January 28, 2026, an increase in fees that school districts may collect was approved.

In order to align with the updated rates, the District completed the required Developer Fee Justification Study in partnership with SchoolWorks Inc.

The public will have an opportunity to comment on the Developer Fee Justification Study proposal on April 21, when the study is presented for a public hearing and consideration for approval.
