This summer we will have our Jumpstart Camp in July for Hemmenway students who are currently in Kindergarten thru 4th grade!

When: Monday - Thursday July 6th - 23rd

Student Hours: 9:00am - 2:00pm

If you are interested, please complete the form below to join our wait list. At this time, we are able to accept 20 students per grade level. You will receive a confirmation by the week of July 2nd to let you know if your student has secured a place at Jumpstart Camp.

Celebrate your child’s birthday with a special posting on our School’s Marquee! For just $20, your child will receive a Fun “Happy Birthday shoutout!” The graphic on the Marquee will show for 8 seconds with the student’s first name and last initial as part of the other rotating graphics. It will post the day of their Birthday and remain in rotation for 48 hours. All funds raised go directly to our school!

Go to School Cash to purchase your student’s birthday shoutout by the Wednesday prior to their birthday at 12 noon. The SchoolCash purchase needs to be PRIOR to your child’s Birthday not the day of. We will be able to schedule birthday postings that occur over breaks and over summer when purchased in advance. This will need to be submitted the Wednesday prior to the break or prior to the last day of school. For example, by May 27, 2026, all summer birthday marquee postings should be purchased in SchoolCash. Any entries after Wednesdays at 12:00pm are not guaranteed for timely display. There will be NO REFUNDS for late submission. Go to the school website https://hemmenway.cfisd.net/ > Quick Links > SchoolCash Online the week before their birthday,(by Wednesday at 12 noon), and we’ll ensure it’s up from 6am the day of their Birthday and remains for 48 hours. Let’s make their day even more memorable! You will fill out: Name of Student and birthdate and choose the birthday background.

Dear Parents & Guardians,

A new Texas law (House Bill 1481) requires school districts to prohibit student use of all personal communication devices during the school day. Therefore, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is updating its personal communication device policy.

The use of all personal communication devices is prohibited during the school day. Devices must be turned off and stored in the student’s personal bag or backpack at all times during the school day.

CFISD has created a Personal Communication Devices Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to address some of the implications of this new policy.
