We were excited to welcome the Columbus Zoo and present our Tiger Trot donation for conservation on Tuesday! As a thank you, the zoo brought along some animal guests and shared many interesting facts! Thank you again for your support of our Tiger Trot Fundraiser!

Harvest Parties will be Thursday, October 30 from 2:45 PM-3:20 PM.

Volunteers will be coordinated through the room parents for each class.

Check out some of the fun Pumpkin Book Characters created by GRE families! We had 126 Pumpkin Characters brought in!

Drive Dates: October 14th – November 1st

Glacier Ridge Elementary is hosting an equipment drive run by Athletes to Aid, a state-wide non-profit run by Jerome High School students, in collaboration with the organization Leveling the Playing Field! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to give back and support other kids throughout Greater Columbus.

Here’s how it works:

Students may donate new and gently used sporting equipment found on the Approved Donation List. Students may only bring equipment that can fit inside a plastic bag. They may place donations in the donation box located in the main commons area of GRE.
Parents should bring in any large equipment such as baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs, any equipment that cannot fit in a plastic bag or items that are unsafe for bus transportation.
Parents are welcome to bring in these larger items to drop off during the school day or on the evenings of parent/teacher conferences.
Please reference the Approved Donation List for the items not accepted.

Where to Donate:

Collection boxes will be located in the main commons of GRE. The box will have the Athletes to Aid logo on it.

All donations will be donated to athletes in need of support. Let’s come together and make a difference through the power of sports!

A New Hub for Teen Connection

The Hub at the Dublin Community Recreation Center is now open! This newly renovated space is designed just for teens ages 13-18 to hang out, study or play games with friends. MLK Civic Service Series: Poppies for Veterans

Since World War I, the red poppy has symbolized the sacrifice of our Armed Forces, veterans and their families. As Veterans Day approaches, join us in crafting paper poppies that will be displayed at the Dublin Community Recreation Center—encouraging reflection and remembrance. SAVE THE DATE: Document Destruction Day & Drug Take Back Day

Clear out the clutter and safely dispose of medications on Saturday, October 25!

Document Destruction: 9 a.m.–noon at the Dublin Fleet Complex, 6351 Shier Rings Rd. (Limit: 5 boxes per vehicle; each one must weigh less than 50 pounds)
