Hey Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles, Friends and Neighbors!! Do you watch at least one child who is not your own from time to time? Maybe you know someone who does?? Well, if so, you are a Family, Friend & Neighbor (FFN) provider. FFN providers have a huge impact on their communities by providing childcare for families. Whether it be a neighbor helping out after school, grandparents watching grandkids, or a family friend stepping up to fill in gaps in childcare coverage, YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
Your local Prairie Five Child Care Aware team wants to say thank you for your help and let you know we are here to support you in a variety of ways to meet your needs. We have free training, $200 mini-grants to buy toys, books and other supplies, and access to many other valuable resources.
What's the catch? There is no catch! This program is free and anyone who provides care for a child who is not their own, ages 0-12 (or through age 14, if there are any special needs), would be eligible!
Contact Collene Jacobson today to get more information and start your free FFN application!
