WCPS Presents 49th Annual Showcase of Marching Bands
Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) is proud to present the 49th Annual Showcase of Marching Bands on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at South Hagerstown High School.

The Hancock Middle-Senior High School “Panther” Band will serve as the host band and will be joined by the marching bands from Boonsboro, Clear Spring, North Hagerstown, Smithsburg, South Hagerstown, and Williamsport high schools.
Each band will present an individual performance, followed by a selection performed by a mass band under the baton of Hancock Middle-Senior High School band director Caleb Wescott.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets cost $4 in advance and can be purchased from the band directors and participating students at each high school. Tickets will also be sold at the gate on the night of the showcase for $5. WCPS senior citizen Gold Cards will be honored.
WCPS looks forward to highlighting the talents and dedication of student musicians and marching band performers!
As a reminder, WCPS has implemented new safety measures at stadium events prohibiting backpacks, purses, gym bags, coolers, and other large bags. Small wallets, clutches, and phone cases under 5 inches by 7 inches (5” x 7”) are allowed, along with medically necessary items, disability-related accommodations, and diaper bags when attending with a child under age 3.
