Students spent the session strengthening peer connections through interactive team-building activities. In honor of America’s semiquincentennial (America 250), one of our focus areas was on our individual stories. Every student designed a custom block reflecting things like their unique hobbies, culture, interests, and traditions . These individual pieces will be joined together to create a vibrant mosaic representing the collective story of our GRE school community.
Field Day will be on Friday, May 22nd this year and we need your help! Please sign up below if you would like to volunteer to run a station during your child's field day time. When volunteering, you will be staying at one station and helping students when they are at your station. All 3-5th grade classes will have their field day from 9:20-11:20am and all K-2nd grade classes will have their field day from 1:00-3:00pm.
**Please note that we need volunteers to come 30 minutes before the students' field day time and stay 30 minutes after in order to help clean up. SuperGames staff will be training parent volunteers on how to run each station.
Only parents who sign up to volunteer will be able to attend field day. Thank you for your understanding and help!!
A huge congratulations to our fifth-grade students on a spectacular performance! It was a joy to experience the vibrant music and rhythmic drumming of West Africa and the Caribbean. The energy in the room was wonderful, and we’ve captured some of those special moments in the photos below.
Kindergarten Information Night is this upcoming Thursday, April 30 from 6:00-7:00 PM. This event is designed for parents only.
During the Kindergarten info night, we will share details about preparing for kindergarten, what families can expect during the school year, opportunities for involvement, and additional building-specific information.
Students do not attend this event, but will have an opportunity to meet their teachers at the Summer Screening opportunity in July and at the Meet the Teacher event in August.

Kindergarten registration is open for the 2026–2027 school year. For Dublin City Schools, the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is August 20, 2026. Children who turn five on or before that date are eligible to begin kindergarten.
How to Register
Families can complete kindergarten registration online through the Dublin City Schools enrollment website. Families are encouraged to thoroughly review the enrollment information on that page before beginning the process. Enrollment is completed online, and families should allow plenty of time for the Enrollment Office to process applications. The closer registration occurs to the start of the school year, the longer the processing times may be.
The Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held May 4th - 8th in the Glacier Ridge Library!
Gear up for Summer Reading!!! Students will have the opportunity to buy books from May 4th - 8th during their library class period. Book fair will be open to families to shop during school hours (9:15am-3:15pm).
Cash, ewallets, and checks (made payable to Dublin Library Association) are accepted. Tax will be charged.

The City of Dublin recently updated its Micromobility Code to clarify which motorized devices are permitted and to strengthen safety expectations across the community. Families should be aware that mini-motorcycles are not allowed anywhere in Dublin, including on sidewalks, shared-use paths, roadways, or in parks. The updated code also requires all riders under the age of 16 to wear helmets, regardless of whether the device is electric or manual.
Parents who knowingly allow their child to violate these rules may face the same penalties as the rider, beginning with a misdemeanor for a first offense and increasing with repeated violations. These changes are designed to improve safety for everyone using Dublin’s transportation network. Families are encouraged to review these expectations with students and ensure that any devices being used comply with City regulations.
