Are you looking to reignite your own math spark? Searching for research based strategies to create a culture of math thinking and problem solving in your classroom? Join Char Shryock's Thinking Math Classroom. Together we will spend they day exploring the 10 strategies that are the foundation of Peter Liljedahl's research around engaging students in opportunities that build conceptual understanding and math thinking strategies - alongside your core instructional materials. Bring your teacher manuals, and your passion for math.

Cost: Free for member districts; $89 for non-member districts
Registrants who do not cancel their registration in advance which then result in a "no-show" will be charged $25
A certificate for 5.5 contact hours will be awarded at the end of the workshop.
This workshop counts toward gifted PD hours in gifted competencies A and B.
