Attendance Matters Attendance Matters

Dear Families,

As we prepare to take time off from school (February 24th-March 4th), for our Winter break, we want to bring attention to how much we appreciate everyone who has developed a routine for making school and attendance a priority. Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as connect to peers and their teachers. Attendance Matters: Be Here, Be Engaged, Be Inspired in Learning.

If your family or your child needs support in any way, please reach out to their school counselor. The following are additional resources found in our community:

In track and field, Allard captured the discus stat title in 1960 with a throw of 146 feet, 11 inches, a mark that still stands as BFA's school record. He was also a member of BFA's championship medley relay squad and a finalist in the 100-yard dash. After graduating from BFA, Allard earned a football scholarship to Michigan State University before injuries cut his collegiate career short.

Berthiaume, a retired math teacher at BFA, also coached basketball, field hockey, soccer and volleyball at the Franklin County school.
