MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Fowler Family,

Please help us celebrate both Women’s History Month (March) and Classified Staff Appreciation Week. The PSO has graciously planned to provide some treats for our classified staff members on Wednesday, but any notes, cards, or emails of encouragement go a long way with our secretaries, custodians, instructional assistants, food service, media, technology and all other support staff.

Schools work Students Learn with Classified Employees on the job

Reminder: Winter ASA have concluded. Watch for information regarding Spring ASA (After School Activities) right after Spring Break.

NOTE: Homework Help does continue through March 16 and then takes a break until Spring ASA begins. Affinity Groups and REAP will run through March 23.

6th GRADE PARENTS - OUTDOOR SCHOOL INFORMATION

We are just over a week out until our 6th graders head off the first Outdoor School in 4 years. Here are the important pieces of information to be aware of:

On Tuesday, March 14, students will need to be dropped off at school between 8:30-8:45am. Please do not drop off students early, as our buses will be arriving with our 7th and 8th grade students. We encourage carpooling, if possible.
Students may NOT ride buses to school that day due to the bulkiness of their gear.
Here is a link to the Packing List in case you have misplaced it. Remember, there is no need to go purchase items for Outdoor School. If your student is in need of warm clothing or a sleeping bag, please contact the Main Office (503)431-5000.
The following items are NOT allowed: candy, gum, food, electronics and money.
Please plan on picking your student up on Friday, March 17 around 1:15-1:30pm, depending on which camp they are attending.
There will be more specific information coming out this week via email and flyers home.
If you would like to send mail to your student at camp, they recommend that you do it this week. Here are the instructions.

Students are assigned to their outdoor based on their Morning Meeting Teacher. Cedar Ridge: Guerrero, Jakubowski, Lutu, Walsh, Westphal, Windle. Trickle Creek Camp: Arcuni, Bech, Harvey, Jacobs, Petersen (Spring), Reines, Walker
