Right now we’re at $9,855 ($7,555 online + $2,300 checks) — only $145 from hitting our $10,000 Direct Appeal goal!

Tomorrow is Give to the Max Day (Nov 20) — the final push to come together and surpass $10,000.

In this email, we will share a high level look at the PTSA General Fund Expenses Budget and why every dollar past $10,000 turns into pure magic for our school. We will also share #2 - #5 Reasons to Give to the Direct Appeal and a reminder on ways to donate.

But first, a.thank you video!

How we’re funding the budget:

✅ $9,000 – Walser Foundation Grant (already received)

✅ $10,000 – 2025 - 2026 Direct Appeal (we're so close!)

✅ $10,000 – Family Fun Night (amount anticipated based on previous years)

= $29,000 locked in → That leaves a $9,000 gap.

So, here’s what this means:

• The $10,000 goal goes toward covering budgeted expenses but doesn't fully fund all programs and events like all the ones you see below in our Top Ten Reasons to Give list.

• Every dollar beyond $10,000 goes straight to closing the $9,000 gap so we can fully fund everything we have planned for our community this year.

If we raise $19,000 total in this Direct Appeal, the gap disappears and the entire $38,000 budget is 100% covered.

#2 - #5 | Top 10 Reasons to Give

Last Friday, 110 families (about 350 smiling faces!) turned our gym into a FREE movie theater for our community. Kids showed up ready to get comfy/cozy with friends and families and enjoyed seemingly endless popcorn—it was everything.Your donations to the Direct Appeal helps to cover the $550 yearly movie license plus all the popcorn. Let's keep the big screen glowing!

This overnight outdoor adventure is a 6th grade student and family favorite, and our dedicated 6th grade teaching team works hard to make it an unforgettable experience. The PTSA is thrilled to support this opportunity, helping bring the magic of Camp St. Croix to life!

Simple acts of kindness—like providing good food and expressing gratitude—boost morale and strengthen our Parkview community. Your generosity makes these events meaningful, showing our AMAZING teachers and staff just how much they are truly appreciated.

150+ 5th–8th graders already crushing it this year (92% repeat volunteers who LIVE for the next opportunity). Math buddies. Book Fair Wish List Makers. Movie Night Popcorn Slingers. Ice Cream Social Legends. Set-up & clean-up ninjas. They own EVERY event.

Every shift = confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills that last beyond their time at Parkview.
