We are excited to have our Blaney Spirit Rock ready for use. The form below includes some tips to help you navigate best practices. Here are are few other things to remember....

• The rock is yours starting at 3:00 PM the afternoon before your reserved date only reserve the dates you want.

• It’s a LARGE rock — so bring plenty of paint! You do not have to paint all sides if you do not want to, this is up to you!

• Suggestion: Start with a coat of white paint to help your design pop and cover anything underneath.

• Nothing inappropriate is allowed on the rock. Blaney reserves the right to repaint if necessary.

• No rain dates — please plan accordingly!

• $25.00 per day.

Parents,

This week, in your child's take-home folder, you should have received a parent letter about our upcoming CogAT and Iowa testing. We will begin testing the week of October 12, 2026. Our testing dates are as follows:

Iowa: October 14th and 15th and CogAT: October 20th, 21st, and 22nd.

You can support your child by encouraging them to do their best, but avoid placing undue pressure on them to perform. Getting a good night’s rest, eating a good breakfast, and arriving at school on time each day will help your child to do their personal best. We respectfully request that you make every effort to ensure that your child is present for testing and avoid scheduling appointments that would remove your child from school during testing.
