Pre-K Reminders.....
ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL
School opens at 7:00 am. Pre-K will walk through the front entrance, down the hallway straight to the classroom. K-5th should enter through the cafeteria when arriving between 7:00 am and 7:20 am. Students arriving after 7:20 am should enter through the main entrance of the school. Pre-K eats breakfast from 7:25-7:50 am. Students arriving 7:30 am or later are considered tardy, and an adult MUST come in the school to sign the student in.
Pre-K will dismiss after the buses at 2:30. Pre-K parents will park behind the buses and use the bus lane to receive their child and their siblings. Dismissal ends at 2:45 pm, if you are running late please call the office to inform them.
CHECK-OUT POLICY
If a student must be checked out prior to dismissal, the adult checking the student out must be present in the office prior to 2:00 pm. Check-outs are not allowed after 2:00 pm.
TRANSPORTATION CHANGES
If you have any transportation changes to make for your child or children, you must notify the office staff by 12:00 p.m. Transportation changes must be made and documented by the front office staff, not with the classroom teacher. We do not take transportation changes after 12:00 p.m.
REMINDERS
Don't forget!.... At the beginning of every week to send your child to school with a book bag, WATER bottle, and a blanket for nap time. Every Friday we send their blankets and water bottles home to be washed and returned on Monday.
DRESS CODE
Comfortable appropriate clothing, your child should be able to undress and redress themselves in bathroom. Closed toed shoes are more appropriate and safe due to there being mulch and sand on the playground. Jewelry is not allow because it can be distracting, broken, or lost. Girls must wear shorts underneath their dresses or skirts.
Class Dojo!
Class dojo is a great way for teachers and parents to communicate! I enjoy using this app to keep track of daily behaviors and for sharing pictures of what the students are learning at school! If you haven't joined dojo yet please click the link and join! The app does offer a payment option, but that is not necessary please use the free option!
