Principal's Message
Dear Neubert Families,

Faces of Neubert
Sarah Partridge - 5th Grade Teacher
"I've been a proud part of the Neubert community for a long time and am in my 20th year teaching 5th grade! I absolutely love teaching kids at this age. It is fun to challenge them, celebrate with them, and work to get them ready for middle school rigor and responsibility. I love to spend my free time with my husband, daughters, and dog. I enjoy crocheting amigurumi to keep my hands busy when watching a movie. I love animal experiences and baking, but not the clean-up after either. Vacation family time is so special to me and I look forward to when we have a summer vacation planned, especially if it is to Disney World! I would call myself a Disney Adult, for sure."
Neubert Staff Shoutouts!
At Neubert, we are so lucky to have such a dedicated and caring staff! We invite you to take a moment to recognize a staff member who has made a difference for your child(ren) or family. Your personal messages will be sent directly to the receiving staff member. Your kind words mean so much and help us celebrate the amazing work happening every day!
Neubert Spirit Wear Days
Neubert Spirit Wear Days are back! Mark your calendars!
Standard Response Protocol
As Superintendent Dr. Martina Smith shared in her summer communications, starting this year, our schools will be strengthening emergency response procedures by implementing the Standard Response Protocol and the Standard Reunification Method, both developed by the “I Love U Guys” Foundation.
The Standard Response Protocol outlines five clear actions: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter. These actions are designed to help keep students and staff safe in a variety of situations, including medical events, severe weather, police activity near the school, and more.
In addition, District 300 is adopting the Standard Reunification Method to provide a safe and organized process for reuniting students with their families should an emergency occur.
To learn more about these safety enhancements, please review the Standard Response Protocol for the District 300 Community (PDF).

Why does this goal matter?
Math builds critical thinking, perseverance, and the ability to approach challenges with confidence.
How can families help?
Families can help by playing math games, practicing facts in fun ways, and encouraging their child to explain how they solved a problem.
We will keep you informed with how we're doing on our goals as the year progresses!
Picture Day
School Portrait day will be held on September 22 (please note the change of date: it was previously reported that picture day would be 9/11). Afterwards, you’ll be able to view your images, order packages and select your image for your yearbook (please remember to do so before it’s selected for you); all orders will be delivered to your home.
To view and order photos from Picture Day: You’ll receive an email when your images are ready to view online. Or, you can search for them at vipis.com shortly after photos are taken. If you need further assistance, contact VIP at support@vipis.com.
Lost & Found
Our Lost and Found is growing every day, and it’s starting to look like it could open its own little store! If you spot something in the pictures below that belongs to your child, please remind them to bring it home. To help keep our Lost and Found from overflowing, we’d love if you could write your child’s name inside their jackets, sweatshirts, and other belongings—then we can return them right away instead of adding them to the mystery pile!
Music Concerts
Mark your calendars! 🎵 Our grade-level musical concert series will continue this school year, and we would love for you to join us. Come to one, come to some, come to all — every performance is a special celebration of our students’ hard work and talent! Thank you to our wonderful music teacher, Mrs. Ruzinok, for making the magic happen!
Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a team of passionate parents and staff who work together to make Neubert an even better place to learn and grow. From planning fun family events to supporting teachers and students, the PTO helps build the strong, connected community our kids deserve. Stay tuned for ways to get involved!
