Why Attendance Matters
October 2025
Get Involved and Engaged
Fall is officially here! 🍂
October is the perfect month to get involved and stay engaged in your child’s learning journey! Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in student success. Every day a student is in school is a day they are learning, growing, and connecting with their peers and teachers.
🎃 Make sure to check out the exciting school events and seasonal activities—from fall festivals and book fairs to classroom projects and outdoor learning opportunities. This month, we encourage families to explore ways to participate in school events, support routines at home, and celebrate every step toward consistent attendance.

Share Your Healthy Habits!
🌞Walking to school isn’t just about getting from A to B — it’s about community and consistency! Every morning, the Doyle Family’s neighborhood crew heads out together. This simple routine builds friendships, supports attendance, and strengthens the whole community. 💙

What's Your Morning Habit?
Attendance Tip of the Month
Planning for the entire week helps students avoid being late to school in several ways:
Fewer decisions in the morning: Picking out clothes, packing backpacks, and getting supplies ready ahead of time makes mornings quicker and less stressful.
-
A predictable routine: Knowing what to wear and what to bring each day helps mornings run smoothly.
-
Fewer forgotten items: Getting homework, lunches, and sports gear ready in advance means no last-minute trips back home.
-
Calmer mornings: Being organized keeps mornings from feeling hectic and makes it easier to leave on time.
