Principal Corner

Dear Smith Stallion Parents and Students,

WELCOME BACK! We hope everyone had a great Spring Break. This last quarter is going to be busy and we are looking forward to finishing the year strong.

Not new information, but VERY IMPORTANT! It is important that your child arrives at school on time each day. Your child’s day begins at 7:45 a.m. and when your child arrives late, they are missing the start of their day and important instruction to set the learning of the day. Please make it a priority to have your child to school on time each day the remainder of the year. If you cannot get your child to school on time, please call Mrs. Simco or Mrs. Barron (479-750-8846) and we will be glad to meet with you to develop a plan to support you and your child. Thank you for being a partner with us in your child’s educational journey.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:

Kindergarten Registration for next year continues. If you haven't already, please register online at http://www.sdale.org/page/enroll. If you need assistance registering, please come to school and we will be happy to help you register your child for Kindergarten. If your child is currently enrolled in the Springdale Public Schools Pre-K, you do not need to complete the registration online. Your child is already registered for Kindergarten. Please do not hesitate to call the office for assistance.

PTA FUNDRAISER:

Our PTA is holding a fundraising event to raise money for an electronic sign to replace our existing marquee sign at the corner of 40th Street and Falcon Road. Thank you in advance for helping your child participate in the fundraising event and for supporting our school. If you have any questions regarding the fundraiser, please feel free to contact us and we will get you in touch with the appropriate PTA member to get your questions answered. Use the link below to register your student for online sales.
