We had a wonderful Summer Send off last week! Thank you to SAC for organizing, and all of the wonderful volunteers. The bad weather held off, and the night was a HIT!

We are packing up the lost and found for the year this week, so please remind your students to check it, and also ensure they pack everything up from the classroom and their coat rack area!

Farewell to some Maple Educators!

Dear Fabulous Maple Community:

What a true joy and a pleasure it has been to get to know you over the course of the 2024-2025 school year. There is something special happening in the east end and, I think, it centres on this school. Maple students are kind, curious, helpful, and engaged. Maple educators and staff are sincere, knowledgeable, caring, and inclusive. How lucky was I to get to spend this year in the midst of all of this! Though my time at Maple has been short, I will take beautiful memories with me as I move to Polson Park Public School as Vice-Principal/Student Support Teacher for September 2025.

Thank you, families and caregivers, for sharing your children with us! These kids are good kids.

Thank you, wonderful Maple students, for growing and learning so much this year! You are awesome and though I will miss you loads, I know I will see you out and about for more high fives and hugs.

You are in amazing hands with Christine Aikens! She is a dynamo with a ton of experience as a Vice-Principal!

Welcome to Kindergarten in Limestone. If your student was born in 2021, now is the time to register your new student to start school this September.

When you join SchoolMessenger, you will be able to:

• receive imporant information from LDSB
• join classrooms and extra-curricular groups
• report a student's absence (same day and in advance)

Reporting A Student's Absence:

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone number to report an absence in advance. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in advance, our new SafeArrival system will attempt to reach the student’s priority contact by telephone to confirm the absence. If our system is unable to reach the designated contacts, school office staff will follow up.
