Pauline Central is on a Mission! - First Semester Highlights

There are so many exciting things happening at PC this year. Here are a few of the highlights from the first semester:

  • Our design team met with architects and builders to design our new building thanks to the passing of the bond in April 2022. The changes for our school are going to be incredible and will lead our school into the future. We hope to begin moving dirt this spring.
  • We hosted our family engagement literacy night and it was a huge success.
  • Both 2nd and 3rd grade students performed their music programs.
  • We restarted Student Council at PC, nominating 3rd grade leaders to hold these positions.
  • Our PTO hosted numerous food nights, a successful fall fundraiser, and the 2nd annual Pauline Express.
  • We had 93% of our families attend Parent Teacher Conferences
  • We placed over 80 Good News Calls of the Day
  • We celebrated our Jaguars for demonstrating positive character traits in our Student of the Month Assemblies.
  • Our Mental Health Team organized and hosted our 2nd annual back-to-school resource fair.
  • We helped over 30 students get a winter coat

We still have work to do. This spring we will:

  • Host our Family Engagement Kansas Discovery Center Night on February 2
  • Host our Parent teacher spring conferences
  • Host our annual Pauline Schools Carnival
  • Host our 1st and Kdg. music programs
  • Welcome next year's incoming kindergarten students at Kindergarten Round-Up

Please help us achieve our goals by making sure your child attends school every day this semester!

Second Step Resource

Our staff continue to prioritize the social emotional learning for our students. Second Step programs are research-based, teacher-informed, and classroom-tested to promote the social-emotional development, safety, and well-being of children from Early Learning through Grade 8.

Your child participates in these lessons designed to help students have more positive attitudes toward themselves and others, show more positive social behaviors in school, and have fewer conduct problems. This results in greater school connectedness, which helps keep students safe and out of trouble.

Pauline Schools PTO Needs YOU!

Our PTO meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Everyone who is a parent of a student at Pauline South and Pauline Central is a member of PTO. We encourage anyone who would like to attend or participate in any way to contact our PTO president, Bailee Crawford at crawford_bailee@yahoo.com.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Pauline Central Library. We will begin planning for our Spring Carnival!
