Learning Beyond the Classroom: Utilizing Wendt Park!
We are so lucky to have Wendt Park right in our backyard! Classrooms frequently incorporate the park into student learning, especially during Discovery Specials class and Physical Wellness.
As a reminder, when classes head over to Wendt Park, students are fully supervised by certified staff at all times and retain direct line of contact with the school building. We love taking advantage of this wonderful local resource to support outdoor learning and active play!
Morning Arrival & Smooth Drop-off Tips
We love seeing bright, smiling faces each morning! To help keep our arrival routine safe, friendly, and efficient for all our students, please keep these quick tips in mind:
Morning Entry & Supervision: Our doors open and staff supervision begins out front at 8:40 AM. To keep everyone safe and supervised, please ensure students remain with you until 8:40 AM when doors open!
Kiss & Go Lane (Right Lane): Perfect for quick, efficient drop-offs! To keep the line moving smoothly, drivers stay in their vehicles while students hop out on their own.
Walking Your Child to the Door: Prefer to walk your student to the front entrance? Simply pull into the left lane and park in a designated spot.
Thank you so much for partnering with us to kick off every morning safely and smoothly!

🩳 Clothing Donations
Our school’s supply of small bottoms (pants/shorts) and NEW, unopened underwear in sizes 5–9 is currently completely empty. These items are so important for students who may have a bathroom accident or need a change of clothes during the school day.
If you have any new or gently usable bottoms or new, unopened underwear (sizes 5–9) that you’d be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful! Have pants your kids have outgrown? We will gladly take it!
Families with students in Kindergarten–3rd grade: We also encourage you to pack an extra outfit (or two!) in your child’s backpack, just in case they need a change of clothes during the school day.
Thank you for helping us take care of our Woodside students!
