Student School Board Interest Form
Superintendent Student Advisory Council (SSAC) Interest Form
July 2026
Dear District 25 Families,
Over the past year, the District 25 Board of Education has discussed ways to further elevate student voice and create meaningful opportunities for students to share their perspectives. As a result of those conversations, we are excited to introduce a new Superintendent Student Advisory Council (SSAC) beginning in the 2026-27 school year.
Members of the SSAC will have the opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas directly with District leadership and the Board of Education. Throughout the school year, these SSAC Representatives will meet to plan out what they would like to report and communicate to the Board at their monthly meetings.
We are currently seeking interested students who will be entering grades 5 through 8 during the 2026-27 school year. Two students per grade level from each school will be selected to serve. Representatives will work alongside another student from their grade level and school and will be expected to participate throughout the entire school year.
Parents and guardians who believe their child would be interested in serving are encouraged to complete the interest form on their child's behalf:
The Board of Education and District leadership are excited to create this new opportunity for students to contribute their ideas, represent their peers, and help shape the future of District 25. We look forward to learning more about the many students interested in serving in this important role.
Sincerely,
Dr. Brian Kaye
Superintendent
