A Note from Mr. Ritter

Happy Friday! As you know, this week was Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week and on behalf of the entire staff, I would like to thank everyone who took time to acknowledge and appreciate the incredible work of our staff. I would also like to thank the Bailey PTO for always finding creative ways to recognize and celebrate the work of our teachers and staff! Our team is incredibly grateful to be part of this AMAZING and SUPPORTIVE community!

We also had a staff celebration this week! 3rd grade teacher, Hilary McKee was selected as a Golden Shamrock Award recipient for the month of May! Congratulations to Mrs. McKee and thank you to everyone who took time to recognize her positive impact within the Bailey community!

Classroom Spotlight - Ms. Farny

If you ever need a pick-me-up just walk into room 117. The friends in my class are so kind, welcoming, and energetic. They are such an inquisitive bunch that loves to learn new things! I am so proud of their flexibility, positivity, and growth they have all made this year. Their energy is contagious, and it makes every day a fun adventure of learning in First Grade.

Some recent highlights from our classroom include: starting book clubs in reading workshop, completing animal research with a partner and creating a class poetry book. Below, you will find some pictures of our class in action. Have a great weekend!
