West Belmar

This year, as we celebrate Wall Township's 175th Anniversary alongside America’s 250th, we are excited to provide our students with meaningful opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage with our shared history. Throughout the year, students will participate in lessons, have options for projects, and be able to attend community events that honor our past, highlight our present, and inspire our future.

We encourage families to stay connected so you don’t miss key moments! To participate in the spirit, be sure to visit this apparel shop and check out the 175th anniversary gear. Together, we look forward to a year of learning, pride, and shared celebration.

Why Every Day Matters

Good attendance lays the foundation for a child’s academic success. When students attend school regularly, they keep up with class lessons, build confidence, and develop strong relationships with teachers and peers. Even just two absences per month (about 10% of the school year) can create gaps in learning and make it harder to catch up. We encourage families to make every effort to have students present and on time, because every day really does add up. We need our "Bear Cubs in the Cave" !

Join us in celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary with events and activities all year. This section will share district celebrations, announcements, and ways our school community can honor this historic milestone.

Our K–5 school counselors are launching a district-wide online safety workshop, Unlocking the Secrets of Online Safety: A Guardian’s Guide to Social Media for Youth, designed to support parents of elementary-aged children on topics including social media, gaming platforms, and cyber safety.
