BES Weekly Update

We had a great first few days! It is so wonderful to have the kids back in the building with us. We are looking forward to a great year!

Morning Car Drop off is at the front of the school. Please be sure to enter the drop off line from Myrtle Avenue. Students cannot be dropped off across the street from the school. Please have students ready to exit your car as soon as you are anywhere along the sidewalk with the awning.

Doors open at 7:15 for drop off. To avoid tardies, please be here by 7:40.

The bell rings at 7:45 and instruction begins. If you arrive at or after 7:45, you will need to park your car and walk your child in to sign him/her in using our computer system. Students will not be allowed to sign themselves in. An adult must bring them in to complete the process.

We have three different pick up spots.

5th grade picks up at the front of the school. Enter the pick up line by coming down Myrtle Avenue from Town Hall and continue to the front of the school.

4th grade picks up in the lower teacher parking lot. Enter the pick up line by coming down Myrtle Avenue from Town Hall and turning into the parking lot.

3rd grade pick up in the bus circle. Enter by turning onto Watkins Street from Brown Avenue and lining up in the gravel parking lot. Please remain in your lane and do not weave out to pass other cars.

August 25 - First Bi-Weekly Progress Reports are emailed out

September 5 - 1st Quarter Progress Reports Viewable in Parent Portal

Contact our PTO if you would like to reserve your date for the Rock. The kids really love getting to see their names on the rock for their special occasions. Mrs. Burton or Mrs. TerBeek can help you get in touch with PTO to get signed up.
