The North Little Rock Board of Education authorized the Superintendent to purchase the building at 3201 Highway 161 in North Little Rock, which will serve as the new Administrative Annex property. The current Administrative Annex Building, which is located at 2200 N Poplar is in extremely poor condition for employees housed in that location. The building will have to be rezoned, which will be brought before the City Council in the near future.
The current Administrative Annex Building holds the following departments: Student-Centered Support Services, Special Services, Information Technology, the District Coordinated School Health Office, the School Nursing Supervisor, the District Social Worker, Safety Services, Homeless Liaison, and the North Little Rock Educators' Credit Union.
