DMS Family and Friends,
Happy Holidays! I cannot believe the first semester is coming to its conclusion. We have had a great first half of the school year, and I am looking forward to a productive but busy second semester. Basketball season will continue through the beginning of January, and then softball, baseball, soccer, and tennis will follow quickly behind the conclusion of basketball.
Our students will take their second iReady Diagnostic Assessments in math and reading during the first week of December. so please encourage your child to do the best he or she can on it. We will have a celebration in January for those students who reach their mid-year growth goal!
Nine weeks assessments (exams) will take place on the following dates:
Wednesday, Dec. 18- Math & Social Studies
Thursday, Dec. 19- ELA & Science
Friday, Dec. 20- Make-Up Exams/Early Release
Have a great December and a wonderful holiday season!
