Take Flight 🦅

The West Suburban Conference Leadership Team is comprised of upperclassmen nominated by faculty/staff for exhibiting leadership potential and/or skills. The club encourages these students to further develop their leadership abilities while using their voice to advocate for student-initiated improvements with West Leyden administration.

The WSC Fall Leadership Workshop was held at Downers Grove North High School on Thursday, November 6th. Student leaders from 14 of our athletic conference rivals came together to network, share ideas, and strengthen relationships. Representing West Leyden (pictured above) are Fatima Becerra-Sanchez, Olivia Casper, Sam Chaidez, Alana Czajkowska, Christian Diego, Christal Diego, Patryk Drwal, Efrain Ellahi, Josue Fajardo, Oliver Flores, Leila Herrera, Isaac Huitrado, Emily Martinez, George Padilla, Natalie Pera, Nathan Santoyo, Janisa Serna, Ciara Torres, and Mateusz Wojtasik, with WSC Leadership Team co-sponsor Ms. Melissa Pregler (students Francisco Almazan, Val Barbosa, Adriel Saucedo, and co-sponsor Mr. Rob Hamann, not pictured).
