Principal's Message
Hola Scotties!
I hope you are all having a wonderful, relaxing summer! Midsummer is officially here, and I wanted to take a moment to check in with you all. I am truly missing our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive community, and I am already looking forward to another positive, productive, and fun school year ahead at Scott.
As you begin thinking about the upcoming year, please note a few important updates:
School Supplies: Please take a look at our suggested school supply lists linked below and at the top of our school website. Please keep in mind that school supplies are shared among students within the classroom.
Supply Support: If your family is unable to purchase supplies at this time, please do not worry. Thanks to generous donations from Schoolhouse Supplies, the school will provide what is needed for your child.
Staffing & Budget Update: Our Human Resources department is still actively working through the staffing process. As you may know, the school board officially adopted the budget in mid-June, which included significant budget cuts for this year. I am working hard to finalize our team and will share full staffing updates with you in August.
Thank you so much for your ongoing patience, understanding, and partnership as we navigate these transitions. Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we will see you soon!
Warmly,
Tiana Ahmann

Introducing Black Families Forward at Scott (BFFS) 🤎🖤
As the proud principal of Scott, my goal is to ensure every single student and family feels seen, heard, and deeply valued. We know that when families are connected and supported, our scholars thrive.
I am excited to share that we are launching Black Families Forward at Scott (BFFS)—a dedicated monthly space designed specifically for our Black families to connect with one another, share experiences, and collaborate on how we can best support your children's success.
While the school is proud to sponsor and fund this initiative, this is your space. To ensure BFFS truly serves your family and centers your voice, I want to build the framework based entirely on your feedback. Please take 2 minutes to share your thoughts on how this space should look, feel, and be led:

Thank you for your partnership, your insights, and for everything you do to make the Scott community great.
