Moore MST Magnet School

6th grade students will visit the Perot Museum of Nature and Science April 12th and 13th. Students who have science on B-days will visit the Perot April 12th, and students who have science on A-days will visit the Perot April 13th. The Perot Museum has a student to adult ratio of 7 students to 1 adult, so we are recruiting 25 chaperones each day. If you are interested in attending and chaperoning at no cost to you, please complete this Google form, and then complete the Tyler ISD Volunteer Form.

The Moore swim team competed in a swim meet on Saturday, March 25 against other Tyler ISD schools, Grace Community Junior High, Longview and Texarkana. Multiple students placed in individual events. Congratulations to our swimmers, and keep up the great work. Results are below. Nathaniel Marimon is pictured above.

Arianna Grijalva - 50 yard butterfly (1st), 100 yard individual medley (4th)

Myron Sinville - 50 yard freestyle (2nd), 50 yard backstroke (4th)

Ruth Daniel - 50 yard freestyle (13th), 50 yard Backstroke - (15th)

Nathaniel Marimon - 50 yard butterfly (8th), 100 yard freestyle (11th)

Judson Ables - 200 yard freestyle, 100 yard individual medley

Parents of Soccer Players,

To support our athletic program and other school programs, the Moore PTA provides concessions at home soccer games. All soccer parents are asked to sign up for at least one volunteer spot at the concession stand this season. We recommend that you sign up during the time that your child is not playing. For example, if your child is on the A team, we recommend you sign up for the B Team slot. This way you can watch your child while they play. Another option is to volunteer in the concession stand while your child IS playing, knowing that there is a very good view of the field from the concession stand.

A PTA board member is always present in the concession stand to train all volunteers. By volunteering for one spot, we can support our school and share the load between all of the parents instead of just a few. Please click the link below to confirm your spot.
