They say April showers bring May flowers, right? Despite the rain, I hope you have a good weekend. As a reminder, next week we have no school on Friday, April 18 with the April break the following week. Thank you for all you do to support your child and us here at school. We can't wait to make the very most of the time we have remaining this school year.

Summer Enrichment Activities
If your family is experiencing financial need and your child would benefit from a summer enrichment activity: swimming, camp, sports, etc. please contact me. All information will be kept confidential.
2025-2026 Start and End Times
Please see the start and end times for the 2025-2026 school year. The school year calendar will be available after the May 1 School Committee meeting.
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9
If you are interested in helping coordinate some special treats for our amazing DFP staff, please contact me. I hope to make the week extra special for them to say thank you for all they do.
Reminders about Arrival and Dismissal
Please drive slowly during arrival and dismissal, even if you are running late. Thank you in advance.
Spring Conferences for Preschool will take place in May
Please make note of spring conference dates and times. If you are unable to attend these dates, please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible. If you would like to meet with me, I am available.

Preschool Parent/Family Orientation Meeting on Thursday, May 1
A preschool parent/family orientation evening will be held on Thursday, May 1, at 6:30 PM. This event is open to both new and returning families and provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with Daniel Feeeney Preschool as your child prepares for the 2025-2026 school year. We kindly request that children remain home on this evening.
Spring Dates at DFP for Rising Kindergarteners
On Tuesday, June 3 there will be a popsicle event on our playground for students attending Old Post Road School and Fisher School.
On Thursday, June 5 there will be a popsicle event on our playground for students attending Boyden School and Elm Street School.
This is an opportinity for students to get together with future schoolmates and for families to connect with one another. More details will be sent soon.
