August Weekly Update

We had a wonderful first FULL week back to school. From an all-school trip to the Scout Camp to diving into Montessori Lessons, we worked hard and had a lot of fun doing it!

• Background Checks: If you would like to volunteer in our school or on field trips, please make sure you have a background check on file. They can be completed in the front office.
• Wednesday 1-Hour Delayed Start: Each Wednesday, we will begin school an hour later to allow time for staff professional development. Childcare is available at PLM beginning at 7:30am. School Start time on Wednesdays is 8:55am.
• Thursday Folders: Please check your child's backpacks for their green Thursday Folder! We will be sending home important info each Thursday. There is a place to sign on the back of the folder to confirm that you received the important info!
• Changes in Transportation: Please make sure to communicate changes in transportation to the front office (260-475-5055) by 2pm each day.
• Medical Info for the Office: If your child takes medicine at school, please make sure you have reached out to the office to ensure the proper paperwork is completed.
• Rooms: Have you joined our district's communication platform? Visit the link to sign-up for Rooms - https://www.msdsteuben.k12.in.us/page/rooms-support Contact your child's teacher, if you are not able to access their Rooms Account.
