Junior Meetings
Junior Meetings Are Underway!
Junior Meetings provide students and families with an opportunity to discuss senior-year course selections and plans for life after high school with their CHS counselor.
Many of our 11th-grade families have not yet scheduled a meeting. These conferences are required by the State of Georgia for all juniors. Students who do not schedule a meeting will be called in at their counselor's convenience and will forfeit the opportunity to have a parent or guardian participate.
To schedule your meeting, visit: Students & Families > Counseling > Junior Planning, then click on your CHS counselor's sign-up link.
Upcoming Community Events
The College Family Plan Seminar
Parents of 10th and 11th Graders!
The decisions students make now can have a major impact on their college options later. Competitive applicants do not wait until Junior year to begin planning - THEY ARE 2 YEARS IN ALREADY. Strong academics, meaningful activities, and a clear strategy are built over time.
Now is the time to make sure your student is making the right choices—and using real data, not guesswork, to prepare for college admissions. The right activities, field of study, resume, classes, essays and more determine which colleges WANT your student - it’s not ONLY about grades and test scores anymore! Your student must STAND OUT! What’s your strategy?

Red Ribbon Week Starts Friday
Next week, Cambridge High School is joining schools and communities across the country to celebrate Red Ribbon Week and raise awareness about the importance of making healthy, drug-free choices!
For our high school students, these conversations matter now more than ever. The teen years bring new experiences, growing independence, and increased peer pressure. Red Ribbon Week is an opportunity to remind our students that their choices matter, their futures are bright, and it’s always okay to say NO to drugs and YES to their goals, health, and well-being!
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! Please consider joining us next week on Tuesday or Thursday to help us lead RRW activities and hand out prizes to students who participate. See more and sign up here: https://cambridgeptso.membershiptoolkit.com/volunteer/180815
