We hope you all had a restful, joyful winter break filled with quality time and relaxation. It has been wonderful to see our hallways filled once again with the energy and smiles of our students.
The start of a new calendar year is always a special time in a school community. It serves as a natural "reset" point as well as a time to reflect on the growth we’ve seen since September and to set goals for the months ahead. January brings new opportunities for growth and learning. Continue to support your child's learning at school by asking them about what they learned at school that day, setting aside time for reading together (or to a pet or stuffy if you don't have time), and communicating with their teacher.
Please continue to help your child wear weather- appropriate clothing and work on skills such as shoe tying independently!
To our families who utilize our drop off car line in the mornings: we invite you to help your child practice their "Ready-to-Go" routine to keep our morning drop off safe and warm for everyone. We’ve found that the line moves most smoothly when students have their coats zipped, backpacks on, and lunchboxes in hand by the time an adult reaches the car. Thank you for helping your child build independence and responsibility, as it makes a huge difference in keeping our staff and students safe during these cold winter mornings!
