Adventure Family Newsletter: November 6, 2026
Dear Adventure Families,
Thank you for your partnership and support during our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences. It was wonderful to see so many families engaged in conversations about student growth, goals, and learning. These connections between home and school are an important part of every child's success.
We also had a fantastic time at our Book Fair! From excited readers discovering new favorites to families browsing together, the event was a wonderful celebration of literacy and learning. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it such a success.
We appreciate all that you do to support our school community and look forward to the exciting learning ahead.
Saludos,
Sarah and Marisa

Attendance Updates
As we look back at October, we noticed that our school attendance has been declining. Our school goal is for at least 95% of our students to be at school each day, and we need your help to get back on track!
We know that life happens, and sometimes absences are unavoidable. However, when students are at school consistently, they have more opportunities to learn, build friendships, practice their language skills, and feel connected to their school community.
At Adventure, we are a team! School and families both play an important role in making sure our students are here, on time, and ready to learn. Below are both school and family commitments:
Meet the Marmot Team: Mrs. Lerma, 1st Grade Teacher!
VIVA: Volunteers Inspiring and Valuing All!
Celebrating every family, every voice.
Thank you to all the families and VIVA members who contributed to the dinners during conferences. Teachers felt very grateful for the delicious posole, enchiladas, tortillas, spaghetti, treats, and Olive Garden! Not having to worry about dinner during those long days really does make a huge different, thank you so much!
Coming up next, VIVA is working on the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Winter celebrations! Join us for the next meeting on Friday, November 13 at 2:15.
