This week has been absolutely amazing to watch! The positive energy throughout Reynolds Middle School is a testament to our incredible community and the wonderful support you families provide our staff every day! Please see some important information below.

STAAR Testing Next Week Our STAAR testing is just around the corner next week! Here are some friendly reminders to help your Eagle soar on test day:

• Make sure your student gets plenty of rest the night before testing
• Start the day with a good breakfast to fuel those brain cells!
• Don't forget to charge those Chromebooks completely each night
• Students should bring a quiet snack and bottled water for their STAAR snack on Tuesday.

These simple steps really do make a big difference in how our students feel and perform during testing. Our fantastic teachers have been preparing your children all year for this moment, and these little preparations will help them shine!

Prosper ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year: We have some exciting news to celebrate! Our very own Coach Taylor Terrell has been named Prosper ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year! Coach Terrell has a special gift for making math come alive in her classroom, and her students don't just learn math—they actually enjoy it! Her creative teaching style and dedication to every student have made such a difference here at Reynolds. Please join me in giving Coach Terrell a big high-five when you see her around campus!

Assistant Principal Appreciation Week Heads up, Eagles! Next week is Assistant Principal Appreciation Week! Our amazing APs work tirelessly behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly for our students and staff. They're often the first to arrive and the last to leave, handling everything from instruction to facilities management to student support. Students, as you see our amazing APs in the hallway next week, please take a moment to thank them for all they do for our Eagle family!

• April 7th-11th: Regular 8 Period days on Monday & Friday (ELAR STAAR on Tuesday); Block Days on Wednesday & Thursday
• April 14th-18th: 8 period days all week; no school Friday (8th grade STAAR testing on Tues & Wed)
• April 22nd-25th: 8 period days all week (Math STAAR on Wednesday)

We are excited to begin the process of updating student information for the 2025-2026 school year! Completing this update as soon as possible helps us plan student schedules, transportation routes, and staffing for the upcoming year.

Deadline: Please update your child’s information by May 23, 2025.

How to Update Returning Student Information:

• Log in to your Skyward Family Access primary guardian’s account to verify demographic information and complete annual registration forms.
  

Where to Find the Returning Student Registration Link:

• The 25-26 Returning Student Registration link is available in Skyward Family Access for the primary guardian.
  
• Click the tab on the left for Returning Student Registration or the link at the top ‘Go to Returning Student Registration.’ Only the Primary Guardian will be able to access the link.

WHAT IF I AM NOT RETURNING TO PROSPER ISD NEXT YEAR?

• Please complete the Intent to Withdraw Form in Skyward Family Access to help us plan. Instructions to complete the form are located here.

Course selection in skyward is now closed. 2025-2026 Reynolds Middle School students only, if you would like to make any changes to your course requests please fill out the course change form located below and in google classroom. Last day for elective changes is May 23rd.

Soccer Game Day Meals are ready to order! Game Day Meals are a convenient way to ensure your athlete(s) can perform at the top of their game by signing up for meals to be delivered to them.
