Make it Undeniable: Song title reflects MNPS commitment
When MNPS released its second album, Marching Into Greatness: Voices of Tomorrow , one of the songs on the track list is Make it Undeniable - which embodies the district's theme for the 2026-27 school year.
Make It Undeniable brings together elementary and middle school students from the district's Studio Stars summer program. Written by music educator Dee Hammonds, the song features Tiera Kennedy, who sang on Beyoncé's GRAMMY Award-winning Cowboy Carter album, seventh-grader Luca McLaughlin, and music programming and production by seventh-grader Carter Hammonds.
The songs and album came out of the latest edition of our innovative and award-winning MNPS Songwriting Summit, which produced the Midsouth Emmy-winning district anthem Every Student Known in 2024 and our first album, I Believe I Belong, in 2025. It's a weeklong summer opportunity that brings together students from across Nashville Public Schools who are thinking about careers in songwriting, vocal performance, music production and musical theater. Inside a world-class Music City recording studio, they get to collaborate with professional songwriters, producers, recording artists and educators to write, record, and produce original music rooted in their own experiences and perspectives.
The seven-track album is now streaming on all platforms.

Kindergarten readiness doesn't begin at age five - the path to a successful start to school actually begins at birth. Between birth to age three, a child’s brain is rapidly developing. Research shows 80 to 85 percent of the core brain structure is formed within the first three years of life. Metro Nashville Public Schools wants to support a healthy start for all Davidson County children and that includes connecting early with families and our future students! Our Grow Together with MNPS initiative provides information, strategies, and tips to support families and caregivers of children from birth to three years of age.
We've also partnered with ParentPowered! Parents can sign up to receive free texts delivered weekly with age-based activities for your child, as well as community resource information. Sign up by texting "MNPS" to 70138. You should receive a text and reply with your child's date of birth as MM/DD/YYYY.
