Dear Jaguar Nation,
What an incredible week we've had at Jones Middle School! I'm thrilled to share some highlights and important information with you.
Highlights:
Our students adapted brilliantly to the new block schedule on Wednesday and Thursday.
Arrival and dismissal procedures are improving significantly - thank you for your cooperation and continuing to pull all the way forward in our car lines.
Friday's inaugural Blue Out Pep Rally was a resounding success, with 99% student participation in blue attire. Our athletic teams, band, choir, dance, and cheer squads received amazing support from our students and staff!
Upcoming Events:
Picture Day: Monday, 8/26, during English classes.
First ever Volleyball Game: Thursday at Jones Middle School, starting at 5:00 PM.
Important Athletic Event Note: We cannot accommodate students on campus between dismissal and game time. Please ensure your child goes home after school if they plan to attend the game as a spectator. Please plan to pick up students at the latest 8:00 pm for students not accompanied by an adult.
Thank you to all parents who attended our 6th Grade 101 session and Coffee with the Counselors. Your engagement is vital to our school community. Please let us know any feedback utilizing this from from either of these sessions!
We're off to a fantastic start, Jaguars! Keep earning your spots!
