The Peotone Music Program News

The PHS Music Program is excited to announce that if you are in High School Band or Choir next year, you have the opportunity to take a trip to New York City in Spring 2026!!! Join us to learn more at the Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Peotone High School Band/Choir Room.

Hosted by Mr. Kowalski, Ms. Marshall, and Mr. Throneberry (our tour specialist), this meeting will cover trip details, including transportation, cost, registration, chaperone applications, and fundraising. Students are welcome to join as long as they have a guardian with them. If you can’t attend in person, please contact Mr. Kowalski or Ms. Marshall by April 7th for a live stream link. Attending does not commit you to the trip.

Congratulations to the PIC and PJHS choirs on a wonderful performance and fun afternoon at the Wolves game last Sunday! Thank you to the chaperones who came along and many other supporters in the stands from Peotone!

Powerhouse had the opportunity on Friday to perform at the beginning of the PBIS assembly at PJHS. Thank you to Administration for helping make this possible - and to Ms. Staley at PJHS who helped arrange the details for our arrival and set-up! We are also VERY grateful for the leadership from Mr. Heywood and Mr. Stankus to keep the Combo movin’ and groovin’ !!!

It's crazy to think that we are almost at the end of the school year! A reminder that the end of the year Six Flags trip is coming up on May 17th. Permission slips and informationwere sent home with students last week.

In order to make this trip successful we will need many chaperones to help make sure everyone is safe and being accounted for. If you can help out, please fill out the form below:

If you still haven't got to watch the choir and/ or band concerts from last week, below are the links:
