Happy New Year!

I hope you had a relaxing break and enjoyed spending time with your family. We ended the year 2025 with a fantastic winter party! Thank you to the parents that planned such fun and engaging activities for the kids. It was amazing to walk the halls and see all of their smiling faces!

This month we are focusing on the attribute: FAIR. Instilling a sense of fairness in young minds is crucial for fostering a harmonious environment in both school and home. This requires actively teaching and modeling these values, starting with basic concepts and expanding to real-world scenarios. My lessons this month will focus on peaceful problem solving and conflict resolution. By engaging with elementary students through age-appropriate discussions, role-playing, and real-life examples, we can cultivate empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of equality.

Each month, we take the opportunity to celebrate students who have earned the "Pride Day Award." This month, the atmosphere was filled with joy as the students received their well-deserved accolades. Every teacher composes a sincere message explaining the reasons behind each student's selection, and they are celebrated in front of their entire grade. The happiness on their faces truly conveys the significance of this moment! It is, without a doubt, my favorite day of the month!

December: Caring (I show compassion and am considerate of others)

January: Fair (I treat everyone equally and am a team player)

April: Cooperative (I work well with others)

May: Independent (I complete tasks on my own and use problem solving skills)
