MOHI Booster Brief

We are moving our final Booster Club meeting of the year from April 11 to April 23 to focus on After Prom this week - check out the info below for volunteer opportunities!

Girls tennis had matches against Niwot, Boulder, Fairview, and Centaurus last week plus a tournament on Friday leading up to the League tournament this week. It's been nonstop action! Senior Night was held Thursday after the team victory over Centaurus. More scores and highlights in next week's update.

Yotes baseball took on a packed schedule last week, playing five games in six days. A tall order for any squad.

Varsity didn't pick up a victory, but had some recognition worthy contributions:

• Chase Knudsen (sophomore) went 7/12 with 3 RBI
• Evan DiCarlo (senior) threw 5.1 innings, giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 6

The JV team went 3-2 on the week, with noteworthy performances by Blake Lehrer (junior, 8/18, 4 RBI, 6 runs scored) and Xaeden Espinosa (junior, 5.1ip, 2 earned runs, 4 strikeouts.)

The C team rounded out the week with a big win over a good Broomfield team 3-2 on Saturday. Solomon Jones (Freshmen) was a standout on the mound, going 5.1 innings allowing two hits and no earned runs over the course of the week.

C Team:

• Tuesday @ Niwot - 5:30pm
• Thursday at HOME v Legacy - 4pm
• Friday @ Poudre - 4pm

We are excited to announce that 2 of our senior lacrosse players will be pursuing their athletic and academic careers at the next level and will honored at the Monarch Signing Day on Wednesday, April 16 at 9AM (Monarch Auditorium).

A huge congratulations to both of these hardworking, impactful players!

The varsity team had two strong wins this week vs Columbine and Mountain Range and are sitting at 5-4 with 6 games remaining in the regular season. The JV team had a big 6-0 win over Columbine last week and has a 4-3 record with 4 games left in the season.
