As we start the second semester, teachers will be reviewing routines, procedures, and behavior expectations in all areas of the building. Pictured below is our BIST Philosophy, Goals for Life, and Flowchart. The three goals for life that we practice each day are:

1. I can make good choices even if I am mad.

2. I can be okay even if others are not okay.

3. I can do something even if I don't want to (or it's hard).

Thank you for your support at home!

As we are finally starting to feel the chill of winter, please make sure your students bring coats, hats, and gloves to school for recess time. Students will go outside most days. If the real feel is 15 degrees or below we will stay inside for recess on those days. We will also stay inside if the playground is unsafe due to ice or snow on the equipment.

Reminder to order your yearbook for $20! The last day to order is February 1st. When you order online, you get the option to include your child's name on the front for free! You also get the option to include their photo on the front for an additional $5.
