In conjunction with the MDE, Northern Michigan University is conducting research on the teacher evaluation process. A capped number of teachers and administrators in each ISD/RESA who complete the survey will receive a link for a $20 Amazon gift certificate. The survey is open to any Michigan teacher or administrator who has participated in the teacher evaluation process this school year and should take approximately 20 minutes. Tinkerzoo Summer Maker Camp

Making in the classroom allows for authentic learning using ideas from real-world design and hands-on creativity.
At this Camp, teachers will receive:
* modeling and pedagogy associated with different maker lessons.
* resources and access to supplies.
* the push to explore and take risks in professional growth.

By the end of the day teachers:
* will be able analyze current teaching for areas of tinkering applications.
* will be able to think about how to utilize tools and resources available in their own teaching and learning.
* will have a product to take home including lesson plans.
