What a start to the spring sports season! We are finally through April and are very hopeful that May brings consistent sunshine and warm weather. Our athletes have displayed a great deal of patience with something they can't control and the ability to compete in the cold/wet weather. In my third Spring as Athletic Director, I have to continue to remind myself that everything will work out and games will get played even when not originally scheduled. We have had to cancel some games due to weather, but sit in a good spot at the varsity level and have all league games played at this point.

A few of our teams are on a complete tear and look to make some serious noise not only in the Flint Metro League, but the State Tournament as well. Continue to stay focused on the task at hand and working together - special memories are in order. It is a great time to be an Eagle and a huge supporter of all of our athletic teams. Continue the great work! Go Eagles!

"The Linden Baseball season started off with a bang as the Varsity baseball team won the Williamston invite tournament after beating 2 top 10 teams in division 2 to start the season. The season has been up and down so far but the team is very young and continues to get better as the season goes on." - Randy Moore, Varsity Baseball Coach

"The Linden Varsity Softball Team ended April with an unprecedented 18-0 record including 12-0 in the Flint Metro League. We won the Clare Invitational over Clare 5-4 coming from behind in the top of the 7th to take the lead and then ending the game on an Olivia Burke sliding catch in the outfield. Olivia has ended April with a .600 batting average along with a team leading 6 Home Runs and 47 RBI. Sophomore Morgan Piotrovsky is hitting .565 with 30 RBI, Megan WIdner at .521 and Ava Siegwald at .508 round out some unbelievable hitting to begin the season. The Eagles have outscored their opponents 233-48 in their 18 games. The Widner sisters (Megan and Kayla) are 9-0 and 8-0 respectively on the mound. Megan has a 1.66 ERA overall and even better in League with a .500 ERA. The Eagles are currently ranked #10 in the State in Division 2.

The Junior Varsity team is currently 13-2 with a big win over Livonia Stevenson. Ella Kenyon leads us with 4 home runs and 25 RBI. Addyson Sturgis leads the JV Team with .634 batting average followed closely by Aubrey Wymore and Kyla Harding at .630 and .613 respectively. Addyson leads us on the mound with a 9-0 record!" - Sean Darling, Softball Coach

“Our inaugural season of Linden Lacrosse has been a wild ride so far! We are battling through injuries, yet we sit at 3-2 in the conference. The players on this team are fantastic young men. We are developing an incredible culture that athletes will want to be a part of in the future. Our slogan is “Tradition Starts Here!” I couldn’t ask for a better group of players to start this legacy of lacrosse in Linden – I consider it a true privilege to be with these players and coaches!
