The first annual Mountain Peak Fund Run was a HUGE success! Our Mustangs ran their hearts out, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, cheered on our students, helped make the day so much fun, and donated to support the Fund Run. Your support made this event one to remember! Way to go, Mustangs!

We’ve officially reached $58,000 in Fund Run donations, which means our students have earned INFLATABLE FUN during Specials on Thursday, October 8th! A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated and helped us reach this incredible milestone. Your generosity is making a difference for our students, teachers, and entire Mountain Peak community! But… we’re not done yet!

Our ultimate goal is $75,000, and if we reach it, our Leadership Team will CAMP OUT AT SCHOOL! Let’s keep those donations coming and see how far our Mustangs can take us! Click here to donate!

The first-ever Mustangs Have Talent Show is here! We want to see just how talented the students at Mountain Peak are!

Anyone can audition! Whether you sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes, or have another amazing talent, we want to see it!

How to Audition

• Your act must be under 3 minutes long.

• Your audition should be performance-ready.

• Auditions will be submitted through a video submission.

• You must also turn in a permission form to Ms. Hess.

All audition information and permission forms can be found HERE and outside the music room. Auditions are Due October 2nd.

Congratulations to the following students for winning the first ever Mountain Peak coloring contest: Piper in 5th grade, Massimo in 4th grade, Nora in 3rd grade, Alisa in 2nd grade and Elena in 1st grade. These students will get their work enlarged on posters that will be displayed in the gym for the year, and then will get to take them home at the end of the year.

Congrats are also in order for our honorable mention winners who will have their coloring shrunk into a set of stickers: Bridger in kindergarten, Conner T in 5th grade, Blake in 4th grade, Skylar in 3rd grade, Gwen in 2nd grade, and Nova in 1st grade.

Big News, Mountain Peak Families! Get ready for our first Mountain Peak Book Fair! For one special week, our school library is transforming into a giant pop-up bookstore, and we can’t wait!

Colorado Rapids School Attendance Program:

Mountain Peak: Your Attendance Matters: Starting September 9th through October 9th, if you miss two days or fewer, you will receive a free ticket to a Colorado Rapids game of your choosing in October.

Want to make your child’s birthday or special milestone extra memorable? Reserve one of our three school spirit rocks and paint a personalized message to celebrate your child’s big day!
