Panther Family Focus #10
12/14

Message from Austin HS Administration
Panther Families,
As we approach the final week of the semester, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout this school year. This week is an important one for our students as they work to finish strong.
Final exams will take place Wednesday and Thursday, and on Friday we will have an early release for students. Your support in ensuring your Panther student is present and on time this week is essential so they can receive their final instruction, complete their exams, and successfully close out the semester.
We also hope you were able to join us for our Winter Festival. It was a wonderful celebration filled with Panther pride, festive decorations, and student involvement from our clubs and organizations. This event was created for our Panther community, and we truly hope you enjoyed the experience with us.
Winter Break is just around the corner! Students will return for the second semester on January 7, 2025. We encourage families to use this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy meaningful time together.
Thank you again for your continued support in helping our students succeed.
We wish you and your family a joyful Winter Break and happy holidays.

Lets finish strong and help us regain our lead over Irvin HS
Our varsity volleyball team dropped an epic video focused on one mission:
Bringing everyone BACK. Back on campus, back in class, back where you belong.
From December 1st - 19th, we need everyone to show up every day.
Watch the video, join the challenge, and let's Level Up!
Campus Expectations
We will begin assigning detention to students who arrive late to 1st or 5th period. This change comes in response to an increase in morning tardies, particularly during 1st/5th period.
Please help us by ensuring your student arrives on time to every class, including the first period of the day. First bell rings at 8:40 and classes begin promptly at 8:45 a.m.
Thank you for your continued support in promoting punctuality and responsibility.
