Beginning with the academic year 2023-2024, the NRESC has expanded its offerings at The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Pediatrics. We are pleased to announce the addition of a New Jersey Department of Education approved 4-hour school day program catering to elementary school students residing at the facility. This enhancement reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive and tailored educational services to meet the diverse needs of our community.

The NRESC team collaborates closely with the Phoenix staff, placing the well-being of students as our priority. Our dedicated staff comprises New Jersey NJDOE-certified special education teachers, a Program Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Teaching Assistant, and a Site Supervisor. Together, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for the holistic development of every student under our care.

Our instructional approach integrates differentiated, standards-aligned methods, placing a strong emphasis on research-based interventions. It nurtures communication, individualized learning, and a motivating environment, providing a clear path to independence.

Small group instruction is available for students requiring a shorter educational experience. The following outlines a sample session for students who attend for up to two hours per school day.
