LeBeau Lowdown

Parents and Guardians,

We are so thankful for your grace with us this school year as we have navigated opening up a new elementary school. The staff and students continue to do an amazing job and we are growing together each day. I hope you all find time to relax as a family over the break and come back ready to have a great December. When we return from break starting on December 1st, our students will have their winter MAPS testing during that week. Please help get your child a great night of sleep and a good breakfast in the morning, as they will need all that energy to put forth into their testing. We have already seen a great amount of progress this school year! If you come into the building you'll see there are Turkey's filled out from our staff with their wish lists we put up during the Fall Festival. The Festival was a phenomenal turnout and it was so great to see so many families and friends at Marcella LeBeau! If you click on the Turkey it will take you to the Staff's pictures as well.

December 2-5 = MAPS testing. Please send your child with their headphones if they're not already here.

December 8 = PTO meeting in the commons at 6pm

December 10 - NSIC volleyball team visiting MLB!

December 11 - MLB gets to attend Jefferson for their play!

December 11 - 3rd grade heads to watch NSIC volleyball! Please make sure you get the lunch note returned to your child's homeroom teacher ASAP.

December 15 - Skate Night at Skate City 6-8pm

December 18 - Band/Orchestra Concert at 6:30pm in the gymnasium

December 23 = Early release at 12:45pm (more information will come about this)

We hope to see you at Skate City on December 15 from 6-8pm again. We had a great turnout the first time and would love to do it again!

The winter weather is upon us and if you happen to have any gently used apparel that no longer fit your child(ren), we'd gladly take it here to outfit students who may not have the appropriate attire to attend recess and play outside.
