Notes from Ms. Hamm
We have had a very busy week learning about our new school and all the new routines and expectations that come with a new place. Students have also been working to learn each other's names and their new classmates. We also started some math this week and they were very excited to show off their mathematical thinking. The children have worked very hard this week as they are transitioning from K to 1st. September is a busy and often exhausting month for first graders.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the many forms that were sent home this past week. If you have not completed the many beginning of year forms and paperwork, we would love to have everything in by the end of next week.
If you have not sent in a change of clothes or a set of headphones for your child, please send those items in as soon as you can.
If you need to change your dismissal time or procedure on any given day, please communicate that with the office. Please understand that as I am working with students all throughout the day, I may not see emails until after dismissal. Please communicate all dismissal changes through the office. They will make sure I get that information in time for dismissal. If you scroll down, you will also find the district link for communicating absences and early dismissals.
Finally, thank you for taking the time to do the parent survey form. I have enjoyed reading through them and getting to know your child. If you have not completed that form, the link is below.
